Well Done Forest a Championship winning performance of control and aggressive response to a team that tried to rough up our passing game today.

Darlow showed his class and we now have a Mercedes Benz in midfield to come on a take the sting out the game and put is in cruise control and close it out.

Thought our Manager lacked a little passion on the touchline when the officials cocked up?!Lol

We watched the highlights of yesterday's match this morning and I noticed my boy was crying. turns out he was crying over Darlow going next season I mean the boy's 6 years old and he spluttered out through his tears "what will we do though dad? We're not going to get a better keeper than him in are we?" 6, Forest through and through and he's dead right about this one- it IS a worry.
I reckon (whether a get punished or whatever) there must be a way round it - Darlow doesn't want to leave and the loss of such a pivotal player during pre season of our first term back in the prem after God knows how long really could all be scuppered by the loss of our keeper.
Answers on a post card please- he's that good I've had a fiver on him representing England one day- academy products like him don't grow on trees and I think his sale ten times more than JL's sale is short sighted and possibly very detrimental, destructive even of our stability and improvement.
We've built from the back only to take away the supportive, bottom brick that holds the rest of the defence and therefore the whole team.
I don't think I would've cried but his point is so so true how do you replace that?
Go on Fawaz rip up the contract of sale and tell them to bite you! lol

I agree about Darlow. I'll probably get shot down too but it needs to be said.
His body language, his celebrations are a lot more animated, the bloke doesn't want to go that's clear.
Can't see us replacing him with a like for like honest player, we'll probably end up with a clown. Dimi looks a couple of years off to me and Ddv. Well, shed Utd game.
I totally understand selling the duo to get the other players was fantastic biz, but. That one player has earnt us 5 points already. Bournemouth & shed Wed.
Yesterday he came out and punched a ball, it bobbled around then one of their players belted it through a crowded box for him to stand tall and deflect it away when he had no rights to. And Bournemouth well too many to mention.
Mike Ashley & Fawaz are both passionate about there clubs they both know the score I'm sure something will be sorted. If not the replacement should already be in the set up learning the Forest way, who ever it is.

I can see Darlow coming back on another season loan next year. There's no way he will get in past Krul. If he gets loaned out a couple of times, they may decide to sell him eventually if they don't see him ever overtaking Krul. Krul is only 26, Darlow, 23, so if they see him as a replacement for Krul when he's getting on a bit, he won't play for many years himself. I think it is a very strange jive by Newcastle.
