I've just read the Danny Mills comments about SP and much as I dislike him I'm sorry to say much rings true. Mind, if he made these comments in August though it would have shown more knowledge instead of being clever in hindsight.
I've said before on this page, I'm a long, long way from the City Ground and I read the comments for and against SP with much interest. For me, the most disturbing things are comments about our tactics, round pegs and substitutions and I'm also torn for SP - heart and head disagree but ultimately a change now would not be good, even if I thought different earlier.
I'm a bit worried for the Derby game, but after all, it's the season that counts not one local match. Difficult if you live in Nottingham I know and it will never be just another game but will it be the final straw for many Reds if we lose, or even worse, get hammered?
A drop in attendances would be fatal to our long term plans too.

So basically the players stopped playing for him, that does sound a bit like what's happening at the moment.
Jus shows how much footballs rule what happens at clubs, if they can start well and win matches why do they decide they don't like the tactics and start underperforming as the wow factor of Pearce has worn off?

Agreed. I have remained optimistic all season but that has now worn thin. We will lose today, the lads will have a good crack at it but Derby will be tactically superior. 3-1 Derby.

Uptheforest: We haven't played well all season, but with Reidy involved early on & teams allowing us to play we got a few results. Once teams realised pressing us and suffocating our midfield was the answer, the rest is history. We haven't successfully devised a plan B & attitude of the players reflects this.
