We need to prepare for the loss of Antonio within the week. Any thoughts on whether Burke should take his place or another winger should be brought in.

Why do you think he's going ??

I agree with 1978, we are not generating enough money re FFP. Does anyone else think the club shop though a nice building is rubbish re variety of goods for sale. if you don't want football shirts or training tops there is barely anything there to buy.
Cant believe there are no pennants, car stickers/flags, beach stuff like air beds, balls etc. You go to some club shops and you can buy practically every household item with their club crest on. Seriously missing a trick. Yes there is slightly more available on line but still we are missing all those potential spontaneous customers on match days and consequently thousands of pounds we seriously need.

The shop and the burger bars are only a small part of the picture, There has to be more thought given to corporate activities throughout the week using the ground in better ways, I remember going to Old Trafford in the sixties and the whole place was geared for selling extra stuff from pies to programs just to make extra revenue for the club, even to the seat prices were designed to get as many in as possible. Under Mark Arthur it was push the prices up and reduce the crowd that way we need less staff to cope, Then we franchise the shop and the burger bars off so we know what we will get every week.
The club has no control over what they charge for stuff. In the 1865 club it is £1. 50 for a cup of tea served to you in a proper cup, in the ground it is £2. 00 in a paper cup. at £1. 50 there is a good profit, at £2. 00 there is a huge rip off for the fans. but I would think these are areas that Fawaz has no knowledge of.

The reason we have to charge high prices is because we have wasted so much on hiring & firing managers coach,s ect, buying Algerian players and having to pay them all off, some of the money have wasted without success just heart breaking, now FFP forcing us to be prudent might work better than the last 16 years.

Carlo that is rubbish we started charging more under ND and MA.
MA did such a good job he nearly bankrupted Notts Cricket.
I admit that Fawaz has wasted loads of money but at the end of the day it is His money. I think his heart is in the right place but He has been conned by a so called friend who is an agent but He is not the only one to blame for the predicament we find ourselves in

Its not the prices its the lack of organisation at the refreshment points!

Will someone explain to me how you only have 2/3 people on duty max at each point run out of sealed milk cartons at half time so someone has to leave the servery and take 10 minutes to find a fresh box?

They have plastic bottles of milk in the fridges but cannot use them to serve tea on H&S grounds!

Pathetic. The Apprentices should be made to attend matches and man the half time refreshment points to help out having been given extra training during the week. Turnover and profit instantly doubled.

The point about it not being the prices at the bars.
If Forest were in charge of these bars we could charge reasonable prices for stuff and fans would not feel ripped off therefore they would spend more money in them. but as we have no say in this matter it does not matter one bit to the owners only the fans who feel they are being ripped off
