Would not have Darlow back he is just an average keeper. Fryatt is at best average and more to the point injury prone.

Lost for words with cjays formations and team.mancienne and Hobbs shown at the start of the season that they should be our two cb's,Wilson should be sold did to lack of effort and he has lost two or three yards of pace since his back injury.mancienne has been tried and has failed in midfield.im pretty sure you mentioned this before.
By selling Antonio and Lansbury you have just got rid of 26 goals and 15 plus assists.you sure your not a derby fan?

Totally missed the point. It was merely an exercise, done with an open mind, in highlighting we can fashion a couple of systems using our existing roster to accommodate FFP. Mixing things up using predominantly the same players & putting some money in the bank to boot. Starting the car for Ipswich. Derby fan??

Sorry guys, and maybe I'm missing the point here. but isn't Cjay just giving you some suggested players and formations based on what we have? I think it's a good idea to have several systems in place as we know very well from this season that "give the ball to Antonio" is all well and good until it's found out, and then doesn't work when he has 2 players marking him. The point with Lansbury is he is no Andy Reid when it comes to finding attacking options going forward or being creative.

Billy's name never stays off this site for long !

History can't lie can it? In the fullness of time as the dust settles we see what a magician he was.

2011 sacked for reaching the playoffs, chairman steps down with forest in the bottom three for making a dreadful error.

Relegation only avoided due to the capitulation of Portsmouth.

2012 two more managers come and go billy returns in 2013 almost guides us into the playoffs.

2014 with a casualty list bigger than World War One billy is sacked with us 2 points off the playoffs. We finish a pointless mid table side.

Enter Pearce - very exciting. A packet of cash spent pre season , probably more than billy ever spent. Sacked in 2015 with forest plummeting towards the drop zone.

Enter dougie, seven good games now back to same old forest, likely to finish guess where , yes probably eleventh.

What will 2016 bring ? We can probably all guess, as history enables us to take a guess.

So what does history tell us about billy? In footballing terms he's out most successful manager since Dave basset hit us promoted. Will we still have the same manager next year and will we be 11th again - only time will tell.

I cannot see the point of naming players and formations until we know who will still be at Forest next season. The players I would get rid of before next season other than the players whose contracts are up and loaners returning are; Wilson, Fox, Radi, Mackie, the Dutch lad,Abdoun, McLauglin and the Welsh international whose name escapes me. Also I would hope the club would give stringent medicals to Blackstock, Fryatt, Cohen and Reid to make sure that they will be fit for the new season.DF has already said that Cohen and Reid will not be able to play regularly. Therefore perhaps we should change their contracts to pay as you play. Fat chance of that happening.
