Eds

Is it possible what a mate has said is in a daily paper, if we leave a player out of our named squad we can buy a player?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Why not?? If we had 15 injuries we wouldn't be expected to play with 10 men every week!

{Ed001's Note - do you not read the FL announcements when they pertain to your club? You are embargoed from buying players, you can't just drop someone and then go spending money again.}

Cant we have an Ed whose a Forest fan please and who isn't condescending to fans asking straightforward questions. Some people don't have time to read stuff from FL . No harm discussing legal ways to get round the embargo. Suppose you,support a team earning billions from the TV moneylaundering project.

{Ed001's Note - have you ever thought it was a joke? If you had ever read them you would know they are about as clear as mud and so boring you wouldn't read another if you had the choice.}

Yes I do read them but as with any other legislation out there there are clearly grey areas and flexibility. There is absolutely nowhere in that legislation that categorically States a player in britts situation has to be part of the initial 25 man squad. And if that's the case then why can't another player take his spot initially
And purely as you try and make a point of it ed, who said anything about buying a player? Surely with your apparent knowledge you are aware we can still bring in payers on loan or free transfers!!!

{Ed001's Note - the question was buy, try reading the posts instead of trying to claim we are the ones lacking knowledge. You can't buy a player unless it was a pre-embargo deal agreed and converted now.}

Ed002,

Thank you for that, I thought that an embargo that allowed that would in effect would almost be pointless.

If my mate is right about being in a paper then the paper is clearly short of stories.

{Ed002's Note - Or simply wrong.}
