Possibly the big factor in the Abdoun situation is resentment of other players about his pay ,but who ,s fault is it that he is payed so much certainly not his, this definitely caused a lot of trouble in the dressing room and a bad attitude in team spirit ,by banishing him to train with the kids ect. this let player power win and we know what happens then, let's have him back training hard and see what happens ,he talented but needs to stay upright more ,leave the jealousy behind !

Reading all the comments about Abdoun on here, he certainly seems to polarise opinion. I generally agree with the above from Carlo. If he's on the books we should be finding a way to use him. At his best (and I suspect we haven't yet seen it in the garibaldi) he's talented and could tie up opposing defenders in knots. Would like DF to see if he can get the best from him.

You can't have one player walking around thinking and acting as though He is bigger and better than the other players and the club. There are rules that everyone has to abide by and if one player thinks these rules do not apply to him that is where it all goes wrong within the squad, Just look at QPR Harry was quoted " when a player is on 75K a week and you fine them £200 for being late for training it means nothing to them" They have no respect for the club or team mates

Abdoun has been paid by the club under 4 managers.
It was supposedly Billy who out casted him to the reserves, if that is the case why didn't he come back with arms open when Brazil or Pearce or Dougie walked through the door? It's because he's happy to be paid and not work!
Or is it Abdoun refusing to train with the first team squad? If so he's breaking his contract. He needs a very expensive Kuwaiti boot up his backside and sent on his way.
Either way he's not shown enough willingness to be welcomed back in my opinion. He's had enough opportunity to attempt to rectify his career at the City ground, yet he's not tried!
Does it matter how good he could be? Not an ounce if he won't/can't train with the rest of the boys. This is when we all so wish BC was still about, he would of smacked him round the head with a badminton racket and told to be a good boy, probably followed by a cheeky kiss.

You don't get promoted with a team that is talented but doesn't play together. Look at what Bournemouth have done, not a team full of fantastic players but got good blend and work there socks off to win every game, even if a few goals down!

Abdoun plays for himself an will always struggle to fit right into a team, would be ok as a last 20 minute player nothing more.

A disservice to Bournemouth. I can't think of one Forest player that I could say would definitely get in their side as first choice.
