Can anyone tell me why if DF is still considering giving Taylor a contract he did not play him against Villa. Unless of course he has already made his mind up. Also when saying he was going to give Hamer a run out, he leaves him on the bench. Finally he said in the NEP that the Spanish lad was not fit enough to play, then why did he not give him just 45 minutes on the pitch, because Fox is not up to it and we should have accepted Rotherham's offer for him. Osbourne can fill in at left back.

I expect he wanted to treat it as we would play against Brighton to see how the team was.

As regards Paul Taylor, the fact he was on the bench and did not come indicates to me that he is being offered a contract, unless DF is still thining about it withot seeing him play again. As regards the on going saga with Lansbury it is about time it is put to bed one way or the other. He is the Captain and it needs sorting, it must be unsettling for him and the team the closer it get to the first game.
