Last season we played away at brentford we got dominated but found ourselves 2-0 up with 20ish mins left.the df takes walker off for a rb and puts Antonio up top on his own.we drew that game 2-2.so what does he do today?exactly the same thing plus all these un called for changes!
Arnt you suppose to learn from your mistakes?

Forest dominated the second half but we lack a cutting edge. Walker is still learning and needed to come off.

Antonio playing up top at the end kept the pressure on but he missed a great chance to finish off when put clean through

We closed the game down well but did not anticpate 5 mins extra time which gave them hope. The goal was not down to Fox.

How do u no the changes were uncalled for? We had to make 2 changes due to injury walker for dexter and ebecelio for ward. swapped hobbs for wilson as hobbs was seen as a better option in the air than wilson. and we bought in pilinios to actually have a proper left back playing. So i'd say one uncalled for change was maybe playing benny on the right instead of burke but he had an ok game. fox came on for walker and played left wing when antonio went up front but to be fair who else could we have brought on as we only had 1 fit striker and he had run his socks off yet again. First half we played well seem to control a lot of the match, just seen the peno and how that was given i don't know but least they didn't score, we need a striker to creat more movement up front that comes with experiance at this level, think tyler is doing great but just needs more time to learn, its a shame we couldn't hold on for the win but that dobbie has always been a little bugger against us. I think it was a fair result and at the moment we seem in a nice position with one game to play before the break.

Uptheforest i'm afraid that u are just showing your dislike for the bloke there is a non constructive way. In such a tight game 99.9% of managers would have taken an attacker off for a defender there I'm afraid and that's what DF did. Left Antonio up top rightly so as best break away option.
It waste the substitution being the problem it was giving a bloke on the edge of the box too much space!!
However I think we started the game today with the wrong side. Both Vaughan and Burke have been two of the better players in recent games and I'm gobsmacked Vaughan got dropped for mancienne. What on earth is it that DF sees in him as a holding midfielder. It's remarkable. His positioning is poor, he is not composed on the ball and his vision and range of passing is just not good enough to play that role. And it impacts on everything else the team does in terms of sitting too deep and not pressing high enough. Without him there we started pressing further up the pitch and looking a better side against charlton.
I'm not having a pop at him personally because he is willing and gives his all every game
