DF has installed a loyatly and team spirit that we have seen in all recent matches - Bristol excepted. I also believe and see on the pitch the players are passionate about playing for DF so better results will happen. The Bristol game had me worried that the players knew something we didn't about DF and therefore lost heart and direction. A change of manager will be a disaster and we should have the same loyalty as fans to the team and DF. Our problem is no Britt. Look how Bournemouth have fallen now Callum Wilson is injured and how a team like Leicester compete with the elite because of Vardy. When Britt comes back he will be determiend to do well and help us make the playoffs. Wait and see.

Would be more optimistic if df started to look at how we can win games instead of trying to stop opposition playing. We spend far too much time trying to match opposition tactically to nullify them than we do in making them worry about us. That's why entertainment is at a premium now. Too worried about our shape than upsetting the opposition's.

You must be watching different games to me syred. Apart from Bristol we have been on the front foot most games creating numerous chances. Our big problem is we have no-one at the moment to convert those chances into goals.

Well said doc m we should stick with DF. To change managers now would disrupt things. The players are playing for the manager our problem is that we do not have a proven goal scorer because they cost money and we cannot spend due to FFP. We have had too many changes let's settle down this season to get out of FFP. I think we will finish mid table this season So accept it and look forward to next season when we are out of FFP and can buy quality where needed not to have to have free's.

Many of us have always said that the key to our team functioning properly is a real DM like Gardner. I spoke to an Ipswich fan who has seen Trotter play for them, Millwall and Bolton, and he feels the lad is a really talented player who could have played for the England U21 side when younger. This bloke spoke very highly of him and said he would always work hard, is big with lots of stamina and can score and make goals.
Before we judge DF too harshly, we have to see if Trotter is the key ingredient we have been missing. To give DF his due he has tried to improve the defence which was leaking too many goals last year, and brought in some exciting midfield and forward players. Lots of people wanted to keep SP and see how the team progressed - we have to do this with DF in my mind because getting the personnel right on the pitch is the most important job a manager can do. I know the MingeingWingers will all shout boo etc. but hey Rome, Athens, London, Berlin and even Nottingham was not built in a day, or even a year.....
