Plenty of posters on here still confusing poor quality footballers with playing negative football. Yesterday Sheffield weds kept the ball better than us, passed the ball better than us and made far better runs and decisions during the game against a team on its knees who rely on over rated reserve team players and unready young kids to play above themselves. How can we play attacking football and not look negative with no attacking threat at all? People talk about our unbeaten run but with all our other injuries at this time we still had an attacking threat in Ward and Oliviera. I realise I'm in the minority on this site but surely we can't keep losing these type of players and still compete at this level. I couldn't care less if DF starts next season as our manager or not but I think it's completely unfair to judge him against this adversity. Needs to work out with Macheda because to be honest he is our only hope.

IBM. You are spot on. Dougie may not be the answer as a long term manager. However with FFP and the bad luck he has had with injuries to key players I do have some sympathy for him. I think it is difficult to truly judge him as a Manager until he gets all his key players back and available. I'm just hoping we can see out the rest of the season and maintain our current league status. COYR.

Why should I have sympathy for him he does a job and gets paid well for doing it he doesn't do it for free and out of the kindness of is heart he's been unlucky with injuries but for as long as I remember through the years we have always been blighted by injuries we have no strikers boo boo goals can be scored from midfielders and even defenders fact if you don't push your team to read to create a goal then you won't get one fact blah blah blah.

I get your point with ffp embargo, and injuries, but the fact that hinders your point of view is yesterday our players rarely passed and moved.

That is inexcusable, it was easy for Wednesday because our players spent more time standind still than running. Wednesday therefore only had to pass with some degree of accuracy to get it to a team mate.

Yes we have got one hand tied behind our backs, but yesterday we played with both hands, and a leg tied up.

What else do you expect for an end of season game? We have nothing to play for and they are shooting for playoffs.

Everyone could see it coming a mile off.

Play like that the rest of the season and we'll be in league 1.
