I understand that everyone one here has an opinion
And should always be allowed to express it
We on many occasions disagree with each other and that is what I love about the site
This is my view
Fawaz has overseen a decent period of stewardship of my beloved club and I ask you all . Exactly where are we now? .
This is not just about the manager and the team, although as fans, we all judge on firstly results, secondly performance .
I agree that neither have been good this season overall
However if you do not have an infrastructure in place you have no business
Fact . The club is a business which no one can argue is being very badly run .
If the club run their business badly off the field . How can we as fans expect to have a team to perform well independent of it?
Dougie Freedman may not have been a popular choice but in my book worked in an environment that many managers would not have tolerated
For me the problem is at the very top of our club
Until he changes his business ethic, or is forced by the fans to relinquish his hold of our once great club, we will continue into an abyss that has no return ticket
Just my opinion but as a true fan of
Nottingham Forest FC I hope for our success, but really fear for our very future
Thank you for listening.

A very heart-felt post Amul and one which many of us understand. All clubs are at the mercy of their owners, and right from the start there are lots of us who doubted the wisdom of selling the club to one owner or family abroad. Fact is it has happened and we have to live with it. I can't see a decent manager wanting this job if they had any sense at all, so the future looks pretty grim. It would be better if we were relegated and Fawaz moved out and then maybe we could start again. He loves the club but hasn't a clue how to run it. We now have to let fate take us where it does and that is very difficult to live with. All I can say is we all have to have faith and hope and love our club as best we can.

How humiliating for dougie. The telegraph says that it was very acrimonious with fawaz and dougie on sunday. Dougie did wonders really with the situation he inherited. The players that are fit are just not good enough. But he has gotten the best from them and yes if you can't score enough goals and keep the ball high up the pitch you are going to crack at some stage. I know people like skegjay on here never liked dougie but in reality who is going to manage this club with a decent reputation. It is worrying times again for the club. Even if we get out of ffp is the owner going to invest in a club that he is lising interest in. From the outside it looks like a total shambles, i could be wrong. For all his shortcomings as a coach pearce had started to lay the much needed foundations for success going forward. The club was being organised from top to bottom and the youth system reinstated. The chairman ripped up this blueprint when he sacked pearce. The warnings were there for all to see!

Don't dosagree with a Lou of the post Rutland and whilst I think DF did a reasonable job, I definitely don't think he ever got the best out of the group of players he had there.

Pearce had to go, fantastic player for the club and Forest through and through.

But he is not cut out to be a manager or an organizer.

He couldn't organise half a dozen tv cast offs half way up a mountain.

If we had left him in charge any longer he'd have probably burnt the ground down 🔥🔥🔥.
