I was only able to get my information about the Forest game against Reading via the official club text service.

Cummings got the first shot of the game which was from a tight angle, had that gone in it could have been a whole different game after that chance was unable to be taken it was all Reading.

I thought oh well Reading are at home we had to expect them to come out all guns blazing we just need Vaughan and Bridcutt to put in some strong tackles and try to keep them at bay for the first thirty minutes.

Once Reading scored i thought if only we can score against the run of play they will likely wobble, but they scored again, at that point i felt that was game over.

When Reading scored their second the lads then seemed to come to life and missed a few chances, when Smith scored a own goal the frustration set in, then anger.

The lads then had a flurry of chances that wet begging as did Reading, but when we finally scored i knew it was too little too late, in all fairness the lads seemed as they had not given up at any stage.

I then started to calm down and thought Reading were in last seasons play offs and were bound to come good eventually and it was just typical it came against us.

The lads have obviously got to tighten up at the back but also learn to come back in games when we concede the first goal, there seems to be a mental block with them.

We all had a good idea we would not go from staying up on goal difference to getting promoted this season, but amazingly until tonights games we are still only two points off the play offs. If we can find some dcent form within the next ten games then who knows where we could finish.

I however try not to get carried away with what has happened in the past, i feel that our current form will continue for some time but remain hopeful that the January transfer window could unearth a couple of better players than we already have then we will steadily get better and maybe finish twelfth.

I know Warburton is not everyone's cup of tea but most clubs that have had some form of success have or had managers that were in charge a good length of time, it is hard to stay patient when losing as many games as we win but we have to try to hang on in there and understand Warburton is working with some young players and is having to find potential talent rather than already proven talent while having to contend with our expectations because of the two great men that carved out huge success that a club the Forest could in no way would have thought possible until they both turned up.

It will take time to get in the Premiership, let alone European football but it is very unlikely to happen if we continue sack manager's like we have in the past.

I feel as long as we are winning as many games as we lose we should stick with Warburton and hope to improve our league position with each season until we go up. Slowly, slowly may be boring but success needs to have solid foundations.

If you'd been there , you'd have seen as early from 5-6 mins in they'd done their homework , man marked and condensed the midfield giving no room when smith had the ball leaving mancienne and worrall no options leading to them trying to drive into midfield to create some space /movement ultimately with the possession being lost time and time again.when warbo did make changes it was like for like cdm for cdm etc . no formation or tactical change when clearly plan a wasn't working.players weren't particularly poor and more would have been created if either the above had been implemented.on paper our squad in the right hands would have beaten a very average low in confidence reading team . if warbo stays and i believe he knows his job is safe then he will at some point have to adapt and change when plan a is clearly concisely and comprehensively snuffed out by the opposition
