Of the eleven who played yesterday how many would be good enough if by some miracle we were promoted .
I,m afraid we would need practically a new team So the incentive for the current players is not very high .

PS
The decision not to keep Pillinos dosen,t look good to me !

I think he has been out of form and struggling for fitness at Cordoba too this season.

Carlo

I thought this season was about getting the club sorted out off the pitch, bringing the fans back that had lost interest, and trying to get the team to be secure from relegation then anything else is a bonus.

All of that so far has happened, the next step is to bring in a player or players in January to further improve the team, then some more players in the Summer to yet further improve the team.

Your opinion that the players know they are not good enough for the Premiership so have no incentive to get Forest there seems unusual, if they feel they are not good enough it is up to them to improve.

Surely the club will get rid of any players they feel are not good enough for the way they want to play in the Championship then in each transfer window get better players than we already have until we finally get to the Premiership, that then means the team only needs fine tuning.

Did you think Warburton was going to turn everything around in the Summer transfer window? Players pretty much only care about money, by getting Forest promoted their wages will increase if they are part of the team that gets us to the Premiership, right there is their incentive.

So knowing that you have not got a long term future a any club would not come in to your mind ,would be not human nature to cross your mind now and again ,imagine being at work knowing your going to be surplus soon could you honestly give it your all because that,s what position some players at Forest are in if they get the club promotion ,it,s happened many times in the past just look back.

Look at Smith, he has had it rubbed in his face Warburton wants a different no1, what has he done? He has worked harder on his weakness to show he is willing to fight to be no1.

Look at Eric, constantly overlooked, yet kept working hard until he got picked and has done well since getting his chance.

If either are not wanted they would have suitors, but in the face of being first choice in Warburton's eyes they have set about proving him wrong.

We do have too a large squad, those that have no future will have been told so, so they are irrelevant, but those that have a future will have been told to keep your place you have earn the right to keep it, those on the fringes will have been told keep working hard and prove to me you should be in the team.

All players know if a club can find a better player than them at the right price they will, it is what a footballers life is all about. They have to either improve or move on.

Competition is a fact of life and no -one can expect to keep their job as there is always someone better or trying harder?

Unfortunately the British malaise is the so called right of entitlement!

Carlo you make no sense so please smell the coffee of life.

If only we could get rid of some so called fans each transfer window who look back instead of forward we would be in a much better place?

If I make no sense just look at the Vellios and Licahj situations .
