I know there is a long way to go till the end of the season but i have looked at the table and it makes interesting reading.

7 of the teams that have beat us so far this season points wise are:

Birmingham. 16 pts

Barnsley. 20 pts

Reading. 26 pts

Sheffield W 27 pts

Fulham. 29 pts

Ipswich. 32 pts

Leeds. 33 pts

Nottingham Forest are on 30 pts, so of the 7 teams listed that have beat us only 2 teams are above us and not by many points.

That makes most of the teams that have beaten us are no better off than we are.

Did they just raise their game against us, or are we a better team than some think.

Like i say still a long way to go, but it puts it in a way that we are not all that bad, and if we are, what does that say about the above 7 teams. ?

Bizarrely the least points the team has the more disappointed I am with the performance. Make from that, what you will.😀

Hmmm. Not sure what your getting at GreyandRedMan. You Can't just pick the teams and stats you want, you have to look at the whole picture.
Include Villa,Wolves,Derby and Cardiff then 6 teams who beat us are above us and 5 are below us so MOST of the teams to have beaten us are better off than us.

Red Fred

We just see differently, eleve teams have beaten us in the Championship, yet only four are more tham 3 points above us, one is only 2 points above us,and one only 3 points above us hardly running away from us those two are they.

The rest are behind on points, so are really as bad as some like to suggest.?

The lower teams put more into defending and we can't break them down. Higher teams attack and leave space for forest to play.

So basically we need another 22 points to be better off than last season?

It just means we're inconsistent, and so are many other clubs in the division.
