We are mid table so good . WB is a manager waiting to prove himself and Forest is that club for him to do this. At this moment no player of proven ability will come to our club so those hoping for stellar signings must think again and are in cloud cookoo land. So except for Scotland and the lower divisions we are stuck with what we have got. The team will success as will WB if we as fans give them support. All successful teams do not both swop and change a manager or the players at the same time. STABILITY.

Fair point Doc about stability. However Just 4 months ago Worral, Osborn, cash and brereton were worth a combined 35 Million. Murphy Vaughan, lichaj, mills mancienne, McKay, Carayol, ward and clough, whilst not world beaters are steady for true championship. We have one young Scott who may not make the grade (but it’s early days) not. A team full of them. For all of us who want MW to succeed we can’t have it all ways and blame it on the Calibre of players because I don’t think it stands up. The absolute reality is this team is good enough to be consistent and the owners will without doubt let someone else have a go if we don’t become more consistent by the middle of next season. The team is underperforming but only be a shade, it might come right yet because if we’d had had two more wins I think most would be very happy with our situation. Christmas is key and could see us slip well into the bottom half or grab a couple of wins that keep us in that frustrating near but far bracket.

Tone, I was being a bit flippant because some of our fans were quoting crazy figures in the summer about the value of our academy players. Clearly no where near worth that but half useful championship players I’d say mate.
