I failed to name in my post the name of our best player who should have played as central striker, clearly Ben Brereton. Just to add to that, think how good he could be in his best position with a partner, ie Murphy, Cummings, Clough or the man never given a chance despite scoring goals, Vellios.

Retford red i don't know what match you were watching but to suggest ben b was man of the match is nonsense what he did was dive for a penalty should have been booked and gave away more free kicks then anybody sadly at the moment not up to it on a other issue benny osborn at left back trying to win headers against a 6foot 2 forward we need natural left back what did billy d say round pegs for round holes just saying 😕

Retford Red, you are correct. Certainly amongst the section of regular fans in T2 there was almost unanimous agreement the BB stood out.
MW is not doing the young players any favours though:
BB played out of position
TW alone and isolated
JS constant scapegoat (very unfair)
JW too much pressure to lead the line
BO never sure where he is playing
I could go on but maybe that is for another post.
