How many of us wanted MW at the beginning, most of us. How many of us thought that mid table after Fawaz was acceptable, most of us. How many of us knew replacement players were needed, most of us . How many of us thought it would take more than a season to establish ourselves again, most of us. How many of us want instant success, all of us. Is it achievable no. But after the Weds game all our hopes were somewhat gone is it just a blip . I for one was totally let down by the club in all aspects thinking is this as far as we have come . We have you say to give MW time, if this transfer window is unprofitable re new players l dread to think of the reaction on here. Ed will never be without work. Scouseduckred I have turned the lights off and opened the (curtains), and seen the new day and light hopefully, all the best.

1951. Is mw the right man? No
Have we improved since say df? No
Does MW manage the squad well??? No
Has velios had a chance? No
Are we fragile yes
Can we defend no
Does MW communicate with us no
Does MW TALK BO#$X YES
SAY WHAT YOU LIKE none of us want instant success or an immediate return to the prem, just some tactical nouse common sense and maybe a skipper and some respect for senior pro's. It says much that young Joe worral is vocal where mancs the mouse is silent. Its as plai as the nose on your face that warburton is way out of his depth.

Can't understand the Harping on about a Velios
None of our managers have picked him.
There must be something about his attitude in training or around the club for nobody to pick him.
Has he done well playing for the U23 side?
I don’t know, not sure if he is being picked for them either.

It is a tactic to suggest that anyone questioning MW secretly thinks we should be in the top six. Life isn't hat straight forward I'm afraid.

Good point and very true 2star.
Posters bemoaning Warburton are constantly hit with the "did you seriously expect top 6" stick and "We are mid table".
Personally I would be delighted with a few places either side of mid table finish but unless defensive reinforcements are made in January I can see us slipping into the bottom 6.

Polskared we are all fed up with the velios situation. Right he did not score a goal pre season or did he score 5 from the bench. Against weak opposition i hear? Well why did the rest of our super strikers not score shed loads. Velios would be the perfect support from the bench for aging murphy.

anyway its not the man more the principle. Get him out and away from the flub if he is a problem. Then no poison can be spread. No just like with Joey barton MW left it to the dressing room and look what happened. Barton cared more for the performance than Mw.

Since1951, try stepping into the light, it won't bite and a little blue sky thinking helps too. In my opinion, MW and his staff are the ones who are work in progress, not the players. I've said it before, we have a top 10 squad ( top 6 with a bit of shrewd business in Jan ) but a manager showing worrying signs of being clueless. I would've preferred Rowett but I was taken in by what he achieved at Brentford, not so much Rangers. Did I expect top 6, no but when you play well at the start of the season, you dare to believe. Sadly when you start performing badly, you look for reasons why. Individual mistakes, ok we can accept to a degree but when we are losing games because of unchallenged shots from outside of the box, why are we not coaching to clear headers for a throw in or get out to the man quicker? Basics. Then we see players underperforming but out of position, playing well then dropped from the match day squad or not getting a look in at all. That's down to man management as well as squad management, if MW reacts to a senior pro's differing point of view by bombing them, then that shows a worrying sociopathic tendency. Basically he wants to surround himself by yes men, not healthy in any working environment. MW is not the messiah more of a Walter Mitty . Always happy to be proven wrong.👍

2 star it’s the fact his tactics and the inability to adapt and overcome an opposing team.
Another is playing players out of position, knowing the defence was ropey and not addressing this during the summer transfer window, not playing a regular 11 always tinkering, leaving out Vellios without any reason even though he scored in preseason.Team overidden with midfielders, trying to fancy football with no end result.

Appeasing us fans with post match quotes each week saying we played well we had most of the possession we are a work in progress.
If we drew a few games and didn’t leak goals I feel most would agree he’s doing ok but this obviously is not the case.He isn’t the one to take Forest forward,2 steps forward and 3 back doesn’t bode well.
