Paul Taylor of the Post claims MW 'successfully steered us clear of relegation last season'. 'Whilst implementing a new style of play'. Stuff and nonsense, MW dragged us into relegation trouble and we survived by the skin of our teeth. He dabbled with the team when we should of been getting points on the table. Looking back it was in his interests not the club's, I think in the long run we might gave dodged a bullet with MW. Be interesting to see where he turns up next.

If it was bile, it wouldn't get on here Wishey. Paul Taylor giving false credit to MW is just another example of the poor journalism the Post attempts to pass off to fans.

Exactly Perks, the last game by 2 goals. In anyone's understanding of the English language, hardly steering us clear of relegation? PT fawning over MW's fake achievements is nauseating at best. Poor end to last season, encouraging start to this, then what? Praise him? No, he tried, it didn't work and it cost him his job. We move on. FTID.

Sutton, just checked. Away to Derby his first game in charge. We were 19th before that game. Under MW, played 9 games, 3 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. Finished 21st, avoiding relegation by 2 goals. Sorry that is not steering us clear of a relegation threat, that is squeaky bum time.
My apologies for claiming he picked the wrong team against Brentford, Brazil was in charge. We'd just beat Brighton 3-0, Clough scored twice and GB dropped him for the Brentford game? Let's hope GB doesn't do anything daft for his hopefully short time at the helm.
