Forest are a basket case and almost unmanageable. With 10 managers in 5 years, with 3 owners spending millions, we have become like spoiled children. We have no respect for owners or managers, we can use and abuse them, because we know that no matter what we say or do to them, there will always be another one along after this one.
Managers with ounce of self respect won’t touch us with a barge pole. Even Brian Clough would not have survived in today’s environment. Those of us old enough to remember will know that our moaners did not spare Sir Brian from there grumbling. Double European Champions we may have been, but we still had knowall moaners and we still struggled to fill the ground on a consisted basis.

They hate being called fickle, but that is exactly what they are. There are surprisingly few of them, but they make a lot of noise. Just 17 thumbs down is the best they can muster, even when you attack them directly.

At the ground they think booing at young players is good for their development.

I feel conned right now! I paid for 2 season tickets, believing that this was a brave new era. We appointed a manager who brought his Brentford side to the City ground to give us a footballing lesson. We were going to ship out the journeymen. We were going to bring in young hungry talent and we were going to try and play football.

Inconsistency was always going to be the problem and I was not blind to some of the inconsistency on view.

I did see the average age of the team plummet. I did see passing style, that yes at times was slow and predictable, but when it came off was brilliant to watch.

I have defended Mark Warburton, not because of the man himself, but because I could see he was trying to build something. He was not given a massive transfer fund. He spent less than £5million.

Note I always refer to our manager as Mark Warburton, I do this because it is a show of respect. The alternative employed by the moaners, is first to drop the first name, Warburton this and Warburton that is the first sign of disrespect. Then comes the disrespectful nickname: The Breadman was the preferred nickname of our most recent manager.

Then comes the false information campaign he only has a plan A and no plan B. This makes you suspect that the moaners either do not attend games or no nothing about football. I have seen him play 2 up front, I have seen him play 3 at the back, I have seen him play with 1 or 2 holding midfielders.

He has done nothing elsewhere is another piece of false information. He built Brentford from a struggling 1st division side to a good footballing Championship play off team. He took a bankrupt Rangers back to the Scottish Premier League.

Enough is enough, I am not prepared to get behind another manager only to watch the poor soul destroyed by idiots.

3 owners, dozens of managers and only one consistent factor, our fickle fans have been the only constant in our continued decline.

Yesterday our new owners took one huge step backwards and cheered up 17 people on this forum. I had hoped for more resolve, not for Mark Warburton’s sake, but for the long term future of the club I have loved for over 50 years.

Happy New Year to you all and good luck to our next new manager and the one after that.
And that’s a goodnight from him.

Yes Wishey - enough is enough, and that's a goodbye from me.

Let it go, Wishey. You're really losing the plot. "The Breadman" is disrespectful? Its just based on his surname being a brand of bread. You're seriously moaning at people for doing that? Just respect the decision of the people who paid millions for the club. I first signed up to this forum to beg people not to use the word 'tent' in posts about Fawaz. THAT was wrong. Breadman isn't. You've embarrassed yourself now. Do you think Jason Cummings minds the hibs fans referring to him as Cumdog? No, because its banter. If only there was a forum for banter.
That said, peace and love to you and yours and every Forest fan.

Great Post Wishey and so true, a clear picture of what has gone on.

I'm sure there will be a lot more short sidedness to come, unless people are prepared to be patient we will be going through this whole cycle again before we know it.

Good luck Forest today.

Wishey, you're entitled to your opinion but 17 thumbs down on here didn't cost MW his job. The boos and the thousands leaving the ground early, may have. The owners had worked hard to get those fans back, fickle or not, obviously as a business you need to keep your customers happy. Finally, trying to promote a style of football and blood so much youth is admirable. But if you don't win football games, you lose your job. Blaming a section of the fans for MW losing his job, doesn't wash with me. IMO.

Another cartoon by wishey - quite the comedian. I notice the key fact you neglect to quote is the facts that matter the quantity of defeats and the goals against column - a brat indicator of a teams competitiveness and ability to not get beat. Shops are open today brother perhaps pop out and by yourself some tissues.

By the way you incessant pop at supporters on this page is laughable, there is only one person behaving like a spoilt child because they didn’t get there own way and it’s you. You’re that self obsessed with your own views you honestly thought you could make everyone on here believe there was progress. Get back to the cartoons.

Not one for sacking managers for the sake of it without having a replacement lined up so hopefully we have. I think Warburton is too stubborn for his own good though. It's ultimately about winning games and playing pretty football counts for nothing.

We should all remember he isn't that experienced. He lasted only one and a half seasons at Brentford having taken over a team already on the up and similar at Rangers. He's a nice bloke but whether a manager gets time to develop a team or not it is winning that counts and not how many passes you can make more than your opponents and perhaps if he'd developed a winning mentality first then play more expansive football then we might not be talking about his demise now.

His cards were already marked wishey by the Owner and not the fans.
Do you really believe the fans on here have enough influence and cloat to remove a manager?
Of course we don't Warburton was his own worst enemy.
Instead of the sour grapes because your man has gone stand by the players and get behind the team.

He rightly had to go along with the other 2 stooges.
You are of course entitled your opinion but do not slate others whose opinions differ to yours because you don't like what in reality is the truth. Happy new May 2018 be a brighter year for our beloved Forest. COYR.
