Was on holiday in the south west of Spain in 2003 near to Ayamonte. While we were at the hotel two luxury coaches pulled in, both contained Athletic Bilbao players and staff. They were to stay 10 days training on the beach and at the local Ayamonte ground. When they were at leisure they mixed with hotel guests, and at meal time we had Aitor Karanka on our table with another player and the coach. I can honestly say they were absolutely great and all the club members are a credit. If we get Karanka we get a perfect gentleman. I for one would be glad if we got him.

My Middlesbrough work colleagues both say defensively very good but we won't play flowing football.Plus he did walk out on them when the going got tough a couple of seasons ago and then went back . But got to be better than MW so i'm open minded on it.
My choice would be our old No 9

Do you not think we need someone a bit tuffer a Pearson kind of manager PM and MW were both nice blokes maybe to nice when players needed a rocket up there behind just a thought
