Welcome Mr Karanka
Very excited by the appointment
Let's all get behind the new man
See where he takes us.
Got to be better than the last couple we've had.

As a supporter who saw 2 European cup wins, league cup wins and the Shilton save from Ferguson that clinched the title I am so pleased at the potential appointment. Too many managers amongst a very hectic period of poor ownership and mismanagement have embarrassed our club, it’s name and history. However the biggest problem I see is the fans of the club that still believe we have some given right to success because of what happened 40, yes 40 years ago. We as supporters have to stop expecting immediate success as soon as the new man walks through the door. 10 men in 9 years and none of them given a real chance by anyone at the club but most importantly by supporters, Stuart Pearce aside. Yesterday was a wonderful day and long have we waited and deserved it as supporters. If only MW had played those players in their positions then who knows? Aitor Karanka is probably the stand out candidate from the probables we could have wished. Sorry for the long post but please just this once, can we lose the negative comments and get behind this guy. It might just be our last chance. COYR.

Agree with everything nick26. spot on Karanka could and should be the man to take forest forward. nobody should expect it to happen overnight, but his playing knowledge and management experience could prove to be invaluable , excellent signing by the new hierachy

Nick26

You have brought me out of retirement twice now. (Don’t worry, I am not stopping)

This time though, I just had to post to say. Great Post and I could not agree more.

My choices for the next Manager were a nostalgic Martin ONeill or Nigel Clough appontment, but Karanka is a good choice and like you I hope everyone gets behind him.
