Hope I'm wrong but have a feeling there is going to be another big money sale before the end of the window. A lot in the press at the moment after the result against Arsenal, let's wait and see.

If we have to sell one of our stars to add to squad. Summit not right with new owners.
Point 1 we was already out of before they came in.
2 we sold. Britt 15m Only spent half that including pererborough sell on fee.
Record season ticket sales.
3 were allowed 39m losses over 3 years. With ffp.
So we shouldn't need to sell our best talent
To fund owt. The owner needs to dip into his own pockets.

Why should the owner dip in to his own pocket to buy players? Should we not be working towards being self efficient instead of relying on the owner to funds us. We are a selling club like most teams there are only a selected few that can afford not to sell due to revenue.

Joe Worrall will leave. It’s just how it is now. £12 million for a 20 year old and like Burke will hardly kick a ball.Burnley or Brighton most likely destinations.

From a Forest perspective selling Joe Worrall is not the best option. Keep our defenders and sell, if we need to, BB because we have better coming through the junior squads

In any case 10m is cheap and derisory when Liverpool have just spent 75m on a centre half

If they go at the right price then they will go it’s that simple it’s business unless your Barcelona or Real Madrid then players will go elsewhere for the money as long as it’s reinvested properly then happy days get over it 😀

Tbf to the owners, they bought a poorly run, loss making business. Yes we can still be called a 'sleeping giant' of the football world and the owners have taken a punt on that potential. Should any players get sold, my only gripe would be if there was no re-investment.

Our academy is our main source of income and sadly we will see many players sold, before we see the best of them in a Forest shirt. Reality bites but there is a chance that the owners vision includes keeping the best ones. I hope so but accept if a few have to go to keep us a viable business, then it is what it is. FTID.

well said 'lower bc'- I cannot believe fans are still saying owners should dig a bit deeper and spend more cash-have they forgotten the last few years and do they not realise the state of the club when they took it over??.
Im very confident that our owners are wiser and will spend and save in a more controlled manner.

If FFP allows us to lose 39mill over 3 years it will be terrible management if we don't lose a penny less than this amount - If we don't lose the maximum amount over this period i will set up a protest group in the car park and demand they lose more :)

Agreed! We need to start asking for serious money like 30 million and writing it into contracts otherwise we will continue to be vulture prey.

Its sickening that everytime our club has a glimmer of hope its snatched away by a greedy team from the league above.

If they want these wonderful young players then get ready to pay because 30 million for Worrall or Brereton is going to look ridiculously cheap in 5 years.

Let's look forward. .
AK takes us to the prem in a two-year time frame. What will these players be worth then? The club will only achieve that goal if they keep hold of their best players.

We need to start protecting our future now with huge buy out clauses.

Selling makesd less sense now that at any other time in our recent history.

I think a lot of it is down to the player too,Britt wanted to go & why would you stop a player leaving whos not happy just get a good price for them its called good business

I would also like to add, that whilst 30 million is a massive amount it isn't going to be far off the mark after the new prem tv deal is announced and we see facebook/amazon and other potentially bidding for the rights packages.

Agents and players wouldn't agree with it because it potentially restricts sales but we should be pushing for that.

How on earth can you put Worrall in the same bracket as a £75 million pound signing? Worrall has not been that consand £12 million should be snapped up. What we need is experience at the back. If we had that it’s unlikely he would make our 1st team let alone a premier league club.
