Give the fella a chance eh. The only thing I would complain about is that at 1 down and not doing much I would have stuck 2 up top for the last 20 or 30 mins to have a go. Mills lost his man. He also gives away too many silly free kicks. Not on his own there though. Easy to see why we concede so many from set pieces. We lacked zip and too often gave it away cheap. I thought manc was superb. Traore did well and in midfield Cash stood out but got frustrated. Too many silly mistakes but hey, they are mostly kids.

AK Is just seeing this as his pre season they are bound to be rubbish today. He played defensively today because that’s what he does.
In time it will get better just have to take the rough with the smooth

The difference was playing a third/fourth tier centre back Matt Mills.

The only way we could have played 2 up front today was going 3 at the back and with Mills we would have got slaughtered on the break?

The subs were logical and AK had no option but to put out Sundays team for his first game!
