Its amazing how many contrasting views there is on here about yesterdays performance and individual performances. Stats don't lie at the end of the day and basically we was very poor yesterday and Karanka as a huge job on his hands.

Possession is a stat that can easy be read wrong. Our possession is high but that's in our own half with huge amounts of sidewards/ backwards passing. We need to have more possession up field.
The side didn't look like a side that outplayed Arsenal just 6 days before. We play so negative and are scared to shoot.

4 perfomances stood out for good and bad reasons.

Smith - improving but his distribution of the ball is shocking. Even including his shirt passing to defenders . His distribution is 50% . Any goalkick over 30 yards he makes his accuracy is shocking. He cannot pick a play out in a long pass only theres.

Cash - his performance was a disaster. He tries but is a headless chicken. Amazingly he only completed 15 passes all game. And was dispossed 5 times which started key breaks of attack by them. Cannot start next game against wolves after yesterdays performance.

Mancienne - our vest player by miles yesterday. Near 90% pass rate which includes 10 out of 15 long passes be completed. Maybe should take Smiths goalkicks . Only downfall is lack of vocal leadership across the backline.

Brereton - Terry and Chester did there homework and out experienced him. But when running into trouble he was able to play his passes back out of danger. This boy as a big future although i don't think it will be with us. He's going places ( top 10 prem side) .
He seems loyal but soon will have a major decision to make. Stay and help our cause but he needs to be mindful of the time needed to put us in the championship top 2. Its seasons away if where honest. Or should he take big prem money and secure a future for his family and start targeting his own individual goals. Play in prem. Regular prem games. England senior caps.
This boy as a major future and hopefully nottingham forest don't hold his future back.

If Brereton goes to a big Premier club he'll be another Bamford, so I don't see the point. He should stay with us for 3 years and get into the Premiership that way and play regularly. Manc is a natural sweeper and only has had a few bad games since he joined us, but he should not be captain. I agree about Cash but to me both he and Dowell need Bridcutt around because he plays the simple passes so well - they flounder without him. The game was crying out for changes at 55 minutes, and Karanka brought our subs on far too late for them to make any impression, like most of our managers have done over the last 10 years. Our problems remain what they always were and we were lucky not to ship more goals as Villa attacking were much more of a threat than we were.

Well I hope he has a better plan for Wolves because they ran around looking like a bunch of headless chickens with no idea where to go which I can’t blame them for how many different managers they’ve had even though There a young team and I would of personally gave Brazil the job as like someone said he knows the youngsters inside out and they know is football but we will see who Karanka brings in

Cash isn't meant to be passing? He's meant to be tearing up defences and he looked incredible doing that in the first half.

What a player we have on our hands! :)

So 10 years of managers are all wrong about subs and your right, hahahhahahhahahahaha.

You do have an obsession with them mate.

Im struggling to think of how many crosses we got in the box, no one supplying these and we will founder. Hopefully people can have a lot more patience with this manager than they've had with the others.

Cash is not ment to be passing says no22. What a load of garbage.
Hes ment to put crosses into the box in threatening areas. Crosses are passes no22.
I think no22 you need to learn the basics before you comment. Someone who runs all match into trouble us not a amazing player. Cash works hard all day log but his end product is shocking.

I mean I’d like to see some of you lot play in the championship the way you moan about a lack of end product from a young player!! Get off his back and support the team. So what we lost yesterday? AK hasn’t had time to implement his game plan and hasn’t had time to buy the players he wants. By the end of the season this team will be in the top 10

Our fans are the biggest issue.
Yesterday a group who sit behind me in Trent End were saying within 5 minutes that AK was too negative and playing to similar to MW. They booed at half time! Then said we needed to get Clough on to create. I took great pride in informing them that Clough had been on since the start and had been one of our better players in the first half then they started discussing that Clough should come off as they didn’t notice him. they spent most the first half talking about Jack Grelishs socks.
Some of our fans never give players or managers a chance and don’t even actually watch the games but just chat rubbish. They need banging especially as I know it is these fans who will Be first to boo managers and judge and help pressurise both our players and the board.

From the moment I heard is name lol 🤮but when he done well I think it was all of 2 games I crazily praised him I want Karanka to do well I’m just saying what you and most of the fans have said before over the years and managers that if he doesn’t do well after 10 games 🔥ed

Hello GingerK. Tough if you don't like what I say about subs. It's a banter site, and you moaned about the same issue when we were allowed to give live feedback on the previous clubsite. I stand by what I say. Get used to it.
