We all know the Nottingham Forest name had sunk to,an all time low over the last Five years ,the new regime were tasked with the job of restoring some credibility back to the club but the Yates fiasco shows there is still along way to go but maybe someone at the club as tried to put things right by allowing Grant to see the season out ,the club should be honourable in it,s dealings to get the respect in football you need when your name needs to be seen as a good club to do buisness with.

Carlo, what is the yAtes debacle ? I’d have pulled JG out too. Football is a commercial business and I see no commercial sense in growing the profile of of a rival. By rival I mean that they are competing for business from the same customer - the Nottingham football supporter. We need to drop the arroagance that we are this huge attraction for fans a prosperous Notts County is surely not an intelligent outcome when the morale of forest fans is one interspersed with disappointment and disillusionment. Forgive me as I know my view isn’t popular on here on this subject but it seems somewhat counter intuitive to me.
Why not send them to Mansfield, Burton and Chesterfield ?

Agree with what you say 2🌟 but you cannot get back credibility by reneging on done deals that,s what makes it a fiasco .
Send your loan players to where ever you like but if you need trust you must be honest in your dealings ,beleive me we,ve scored another own goal !

Surely if it’s in the pre signed agreement that he can be called back , then the club have done nothing wrong.
As somebody said this is a business and Forest need to look after their own interests.
County may be gutted but tough, that’s life.

Yates and Grant were sent to Notts to develop them as players. Yates is a shoe in for the first team next season as the new enforcer if he develops.
Moving him up a division only fast tracks him to become a Championship regular so I really do not understand this pious nonsense about moving him up mid season?
