To overcome Wolves at their own ground is fantastic, when you take into account our away record and it is even better.

The team looked totally different in the way they played compared to the past, the way they limited Wolves to one meaningful shot on goal and once they were in front saw out the game.

How the team respond to going behind now they must have more confidence and off course their vast improvement in not just the defence, but also the team as a whole is going to give us more of a sign of what they are made of.

I'm so pleased for the team, and chuffed the manager in such a short time has achieved so much, the manager must feel more positive about the job he dared to take on.

I so hope the manager makes McKay into the player we want him to be, if McKay wants to be a better player and not just thinks he has made it now he is a Forest player i think he has the talent to do it.

We can start to believe that we won’t go behind as often.

Has he found the perfect position for boukalkis? Played a great game by all accounts both protecting the back four and good passing to get attacks going,

Was that not his best position already? As for Mckay, wouldn’t be surprised if he was back in Scotland before the end of January. Without MW I just think he’ll become very homesick all of a sudden?

Mckay seems very lacklustre of late. Maybe his head is not right, missing Mark? Whatever it is i am not sure if he has the battle within the man to restablish himself in this team. He looks casual on the outside and that is good but in a battle the man needs to surface. Likd i have said before attitude and right personelle are key. Not always and just better footballers, particularly in this league.

At least Karanka seems to have the measure of Mckay. I'm assuming he hasn't shown enough on the training ground to warrant a place in the squad and maybe Karanka saying that if any player doesn't want to be at the club they can leave was a challenge to Mckay. I personally think he'll stay and come good, he has the potential to be a big asset.

I hope he stays and does well. If bouchalakis , McKay and bridcutt all Come good.

it will Just about create the worthwhile trade off for the painful footballl witnessed under MW.

It would be good if there are some positives around his legacy as he came with the best of intentions, very glad we don’t have to watch his tippy tappy nonsense anymore though !

I don't wish to detract from Saturdays performance at all. All it goes to illustrate is that we are good enough as a squad to be successful if the manager knows how and sets out to win games instead of trying to out pass the opposition with no purpose. The real test though will come in our next home game when the emphasis will be on us to break down the opposition. We will then see how good we can be with a winning manager as I think that is harder to achieve than a performance like Satudays

Right about tactics syred. I wanted to give MW more time but it was clear that his rigid plan was failing and the players were losing heart. Now we have a proper tactician in charge let's hope the results come. You always need to mix your game up or you become predictable and we were just that.

Mckay has class but does he have bottle? We will find out first if he has and second if AK can man manage. We need his creative spark back in the side. If AK can get our best players running through brick walls and our defence keeping clean sheets it won't be long before he walks across the Trent unaided.
