Luved Karanka comments on Osbourne he's definitely an unsung hero for the reds. 18th best player this season with the most passes in the championship more than any other forest player and has played in numerous positions. Every season he seems to amass more assists and passes than any forest player. I think he has been slated by too many people in his time with us, yes sometimes he passes sideways and backwards but that's the same for the whole forest squad. With the right manager with the right mindset osbourn could be a star of the future. I think a lot of people appreciate his contribution and commitment but there are a few who are quick to slate the lad, remember he is only 22 but is one of the most experienced and consistent players we have got. I for one would have Benny boy as one of the first names on the team sheet, don't worry son most forest fans luv ya

Passing stats are a load of old tosh. How many of those are just 5 yard passes to an unmarked team mate? The assists are pretty impressive but the passing stats are only worth ignoring.

What nobody sees in Osborn is the fact he will always find space or gets into a position to receive the ball.he always gives his team an outlet when there’s no other pass available.he always shows for the ball and this is why he has so many passes and touches the ball more because he wants the ball and will help his team out by creating a yard of space for an easy pass.

Was pleased he had a good game and scored a good goal against Wolves as I thought for Karanka's first game in charge against Villa Osborn probably had his worst game in a Forest shirt. If not the worst then it was definitely in the top one.

Benny just needs add a few more goals (for himself) to his game-play imo.
I believe Wolves may have been the start of this strategy to come.
After-all it never hurts to pop a shot off from distance looking for a spill or deflection (Lewis Mc) & Benny certainly can hit them. just ask Direby!
His fitness is awesome.

take Benny out of the equation,the problem is,this group of players perform now and then,one minute they click and it looks great,but the next they don't turn up,It's an on going saga under a succession of managers,I'm glad for once karanka has said from the start that mills vellios ward and carayol have no future here,that's a good start and more too follow come the summer,
Osborn has the best fitness levels I've ever seen for a long time,but a lot of it is wasted,he should use that energy more wisely and pick his moments?
