I know we are all sick of velios talk and i promised not to mention him again, however. He must be on a deal where his next appearance opens up a down payment to Everton. I just wish the club would make a statement.
Velios is 6'4 very athletic and though seems unprolific at previous clubs his goals have been crackers. He has more mobility than murphy so surely we must try and realise his potential. At this level he could be the real deal. He must make a habit of humling the chairmans dsughter at every club as on footballing terms we could have a big missed opportunity here. Please just give him a go til season end we have nothing to lose, or like i said their could be contracual issues!

No one really knows the reason why he hasn't got any game time but the club need to look to offload him if he is not part of their plans. He's one player who we could actually get a fee for.

His value is zero. Hs will be seen as damaged goods so who would pay a fee for him. If he is any good then why dkn't we play him. If he is crap as you all say and on good money we have a problem. Its a strange situation. Why don't we just come to an agreement and pay him off with half his wages!!!!

Why would a manager play him if he doesn't rate him,just because we are paying him good wages?

Sutton the longer he is out of our team then people will smell a problem. I will be brutally honest. Its a disgrace the way the club have treated him, particularly without giving the fans a reason. What harm can it do playing him? its not as if he is a defender where a mistake is costly. He might just score a goal, look how many sitters murphy has squandered.
We could be in a win win situation. Play him he scores and his value is restored. If he doesn't score then neither have murphy brereton cummings mckay etc been prolific. All our crap players that karanka wants alledgedly to off load are worthless. A good manager would look at velios in a match situation to make proper judgement. What could possibly go wrong. The situation stinks to me.

Why would any manager in there right mind play a player that is not doing well on the training ground and put him into the first team and if he’s not happy with the way he’s been treated which is probably his doing as the last 3 managers ain’t played him go nobody’s stopping him let’s hope he’s off our freeloading wage bill by next week

I am saying he needs managing ffs. Who in their right mjnd treats an asset like this. Ff79 Karanka should play him or give us the reasons. When we have struggled to score recently and now murphy has been out surely when you have a top earner and asset you play him or put him in the squad. Velios is not a crap player he is better than murphy and younger. He may have an attitude problem. He won't be the first. Their were many on here hoping that karanka would now give him a chance. He was in the villa game squad so maybe karanka sees an opportunity and all is not lost. But i will put my balls on the line, jf karanka does not get him fit and available then its a waste of time and talent and poor communication from the club to fans.

If you think vellios is a better player than our other forwards? Then that's your opinion but not the managers

I think you will see Vellios play some part against Hull at the weekend. I'm neutral on the situation but I hope he starts or comes on as a sub and bags a couple of goals just so I can see all the "I told you so" posts on here.

How do you know if he doesn't perform in training, we don't?
Give him a game or two as sub and see how he fares.
Nothing to lose by using vellios as sub?
