Out of curiosity,.
Having watched Newcastle today and being very impressed with lescelles.
Do you think Worrall could be as good?
Or at 10 million should we cash in and say good business?

I don't think anyone can doubt that Worrall is a Forest man through and through and he clearly feels the pain whenever a goal is conceded.

He wins more than his fair share of defensive headers and isn't shy at getting in where it hurts. My concern is that he seems to lack pace and can be easily turned and at 21 can he develop and get any quicker ?.

If the owners and/or our financial position come the summer allow a substantial cash injection then I would be inclined to keep him ( he will have 2 yrs left on his contract ).

If not then at 10 to 12 million for a championship player then yes , to me , it is good business.

Bit of a " hedging my bets " answer I know but as always just my opinion

Mancienne gets done more than joe Worral and he is smaller with better mobility. I think Joe has it but when michael dawson was his age he had it all. I would keep Worrall and let him develop. He is future captain material.

Cant argue with your comments on Mancienne one bit and I hope to see Figueiredo in asap. But as you also say Mancienne is quicker and more mobile than Worrall and he's 9 yrs older which is my point. If Joe had that pace we would be talking about more than 10 million I reckon

Burnley offered £11.5m by all accounts and sold Keane who looks distinctly average to Everton for £25m.
So by my reckoning the next English international centre half is worth in excess of £20m of anybodies money unless you are Fantasy Fawaz settling in casino bill ?
