Think we all need to pull together to be honest. We’ve got the best manager for a while on paper perhaps ? However mcleish has a promotion on his CV and he was awful want he. It’s no foregone conclusion we will stay in this league . I’m personally very very concerned.

Me as Well 2 star my biggest worry is scoring goals under Karanka.
Hopefully with geddy Watson and colback in front of them the defence will be tighter although don't rate pants in goal.
Need a fit Murphy to make this one up top work though.

Absolutely FF! With no Murphy this one up top lark has no legs. In my simple head the lone striker role is about creating for free scoring midfielders. Without Murphy the chances will not be created. If they are there probably is enough goals in our midfield - just about. It’s clear to me Murphy isn’t going to score a hat full, it’s about what he creates for others in the system we play.

I think that’s why it’s so frustrating under AK and MW that we haven’t given a different system a go while he has been injured as our other forwards can’t play that role.

Biggest game of the Season on Saturday - let’s hope we show up.

FF79, if the midfielder/midfielders protecting the back four is/are good enough that means we will concede less. At the same time if the midfielders pushing forward are good enough the lone striker is less isolated so not feeding on the usual scraps, so goals will not necessarily be free flowing but good enough to keep us up.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
I think with this squad even with the additions it's not suited to one up.
But I know He won't play two.
Main thing is not to lose against hull,otherwise I fear for us.
