We drew against Burton, and Reading, the lads did not cover themselves in a great light but against Reading they finally showed the character to come back from a goal down.

That is nothing to scream from the rooftops, but I'm hoping it is a small glint of light of promise of improvement.

We have Qpr, and Birmingham next then some tough games, although some might be worrying about those games i'm not, even with the deadwood we quite often were able do well against the so called tougher teams.

When we play Millwall, will we be out played and win like it was for Mr Fine Margins, play well and get beat, or play well and win? No one knows off course.

That game will be the real barometer of the progress, if any under Aitor, most of the new players should by then be as fit as they can as well as Aitor by then knowing his best 11.

Things never run smooth on the pitch for Forest but i'm hoping at least they are beginning to look up by the Millwall game.

We'll said mate,I know Karanka's not everyone's cup of tea, however as I said weeks ago,we are stuck with him whether we like it or not,for I don't think anyone can take the embarrassment of yet another managerial appointment. Also wouldn't it be great if we could go on a decent run of form, and in turn, generate some much needed banter, and positivity on here??? So Aitor,it's up to you to deliver mate, please don't let us down!!!PS (this must be the longest post I've out on here lol!!!)

Rogie we need him to succeed,

This is why the majority of unbiased posters on here are prepared to give Karanka a chance. Our manager has played at the highest level, been coached by the best as a player.

He will sort this mess if he is given time. I can just imagine his first training session, the players chanted the previous managers mantra, “fine margins, we go again, plan B is play plan A better.

He has seen that we were a young side, easily bullied, boys against men. Footballs a physical game, Mckay, Dowling, Cummings,Walker and Clough too lightweight. Talented footballers no doubt, their time may come.
The reality is we need to stay in this division, hard nosed , experienced professionals will assure this.

Results so far are poor, performance not much better, however, our manager has started to do the things that I wanted to see done.

What's that red one?
What have you seen that's better and needed to be done ?
What's the shelve life of 32 year olds and what's there ambitions?
Results and performances are poor?
Well they're poor for that reason.

Here’s my takenkn the squad. We don’t have a good enough striker that is much needed so one will definitely come in the summer. Watson, Colback and Geddy are good additions even if they’re only on short contracts (Colback obviously on loan TIL end of season). I think we currently have a good mix of experience and youth but the news players signed need to get to fitness. Once they are at full fitness and full match speed we’ll get some good results. If we play like we did in the second half v reading then we should have no problem scoring goals, we created the chances just need to score them. So a quality striker will help solve this problem. Mid-table finish for us this season. Then we’ll be pushing on to look for play offs next season.

Red lad really play offs next season that will probably be 2-3 years down the line unless Karanka is given money for 9-10 good players in the summer it just won’t happen so you might as well forget that one ☝️
