Just to start some debate as I don't really know the answer but I have an opinion, what is Ben Osbourns position. I personally think his attributes are best suited to where he's currently filling in at left back. He's got the energy to get up and down the field all day, he can put a foot in and has a decent pass on him, albeit mostly backwards. What are others thoughts on what his actually position is?

He's got the quickest feet at the club, can play with his head up, picks a decent pass & can finish.

He's an ACM all day long, assuming he doesn't have to drop too deep to get the ball.

Anywhere deeper he lacks the physical edge to get upfield. I think he gets shoe horned into different positions purely because his of his engine.

Definitely not left back,Not tall enough and not the best of tackles.
Sides would soon spot that weakness in the air at the far post or running at him.
The future doesn't look good for him with Watson colback Lolly cash tomlin and geddy all ahead of him in midfield.

The other thing is what the crack with this Fuentes character. Is it still a fitness issue or do they now having had a good look at him think he's not up to it.I was expecting on Saturday that Worrall would come in and Fox move to left back.I must state I wouldn't have Fox anywhere near left back.I would argue left and right back both need addressing in the summer.Dont think Lichaj/Darikwa or Fox are good enough.

Colback and tomlin are on loan.cash is right footed and won’t play left side of anywhere whilst Osborn is here.saying Osborn only passes sideways is mind boggling.

I think that left back is bens best position i don't think he is good enough to play in midfield, we have a lot better players now that are tactical better in midfield. I think with a fulll season at left back and the fact he can get up and down the wing he could flourish in that position.
ashley Cole wasnt much bigger so i don't think height will be an issue ben just needs to get his position right

Perks I’m with you. Lichaj, fox and darikwa - I think we can hopefully find better. This should be by selling Worral or Brereton if the previous figures are anything near accurate

2 star given Worrall can't get in the starting 11 at the minute and assuming he doesn't before the end of the season how much impact will that have on his value.Personally I think we might have missed the boat on anything like 10 million. We need a quality striker and they cost a bob or 2.

Perhaps we have but fingers crossed what dyche saw is still there to be developed. Honestly would you have ever paid what was being muted ? The price may have been talk anyway

Any thoughts on a striker?

I think Benny is a utility man and a club man too. Problem he has is left back is the only position we don't have a better player for, yet. If Fuentes appears and does the business, then the bench is where you'll find him.

Not sure.Think if you are going with 1 up top you need a certain type of player and also depends on budget.

The early season Murphy would have done. I thought the game and how we were playing would suit him well, but he was abysmal. I do think he is what we need for the way we bring Tomlin and Jolley into the attack but he’s past I reckon.

This is just a theory 2 star but my nephew brother and most the other lads I go to the match with think this.
Murphy came to us for game time with the world cup coming up?
He'd already moved his family to Ireland before he signed and is it a coincidence that since Ireland failed to qualify his form has spiralled downwards?
He can't be a happy man living away from his wife and kids.

Your right 79 and injured more all of a sudden.Pathetic contribution second half,no effort at all.

It’s a theory that makes sense - he’s half the player he was . Other theory is he might not like Karanaka or the way Mark Warburton was disposed of?
