Warburton has said he would have gone after Cameron Jerome had he known a top six side was expected, would he have suited Warburton's style of play.

Top six should always be your aim. If you aim for mediocrity then the trap door awaits. Warburton was an idiot. No point in elaborating. He is history and has damaged a lot of the youngsters.

He would have played him on the right wing and looked useless!

Bent Martin, Nugent, Jerome. All big time Charlies that are past their sell by dates and are under performers for their wages.
Thank god the owners did not give Warburton the funds to squander in January?

The difference is the quality managers can see that some strikers have some part of their game that suits being on the wing in his style of play, so after a while it works out.

Whereas some managers put a striker on the wing just because that is the only way that striker will get into the team with the managers style of play, regardless of if it suits the striker or not.
