Lots of comments over the last few days with football styles .
West ham one up and midfield not backing up the striker,ex pros saying you can see it's not working.
Man Utd playing at home and doing same negative two holding midfielders.and all four panellists saying it's not working and inviting the opposition to score which they did.
The only side I've seen who can play this is man city and that's because every midfield player can score and does.
System is ok if you have man city's quality, but most don't have it and most fans don't want to see it ,you can't score unless you have teal quality not just up front, but every midfielder has to score as well.
Scrap the system Karanka it won't work unless you can sign a 20 million striker and two 10 million midfielders who can get 10 goals each.
It's not a poor man's system

Well you've just contradicted yourself by stating that it doesn't work for Man U and to work you need a £20m striker and two £10m midfielders. In that case can you kindly explain why £75m Lukaku and £85m Pogba etc etc CAN'T seem to get it right? Or do they sometimes get it right but not always? Same goes for the 5 goals against QPR. It worked that afternoon but not against Norwich or Derby. Why? Well because football isn't a science. There's no guaranteed formula, is there. How come Wigan beat Man C? Because they worked out a formula or their players stuck their foot in with more desire and had nothing to lose that day. I think you're overreaching with your theory that 1 up front hardly ever works. We'd all love to see three up front and six goals a game, but that'll never get you out of this league. 21 clean sheets in a season will, because AK's done it before.

Exactly it don't work or very rearly.
Even with those man Utd riches what chance with ours?
It's boring to watch and you don't see goals.
What have we seen so far in 5 /6 home games?2 goals?
We'll be lucky to see two more this season we simply don't have the players to play it

Our strikers aren't good enough regardless of the system. AK will know this and additions will be made in the summer. If you don't have the personnel to score many goals, objective number one has to be to stop conceding goals, well done AK.

Can’t believe some of the comments on here. we have just got a new manager only 2 months ago.
In that time he has stopped the rot our defence was getting worse it’s now far better
The football the team was playing was getting worse now the performances are infinitely more consistent we don’t look easy to beat anymore.
I actually look forward to the matches again, 2 months ago I wasn’t.

10 new players have been brought in the manager has actually managed to bed the players in that would have been difficult in pre season
I could go on.
This is only the beginning.

He won’t try it because I presume
he sees what they can do every day in training.
If they can’t perform in training why would you pick them on match day ?

QPR 2 v Forest 5 seemed to work very nicely when everyone clicked with AK's system so that puts that theory to bed?
No flies on me FF79!

Polsker he won't try it end of ever.
Only plays the one system.
And yes red while it worked against QPR.
It failed against the sheep,Burton Norwich hull.
Managers know how he will set up and play tactics to stop it knowing that he won't change it during a game.

When people mention 5-2 against QPR they forget that Warburtons system managed to give them a good hiding as well. Just saying.
