Derby should IMO be demoted to League One ,some of the games I,ve watched over the years make last week look like a summers day!

I think what they did is wrong but that is a over reaction.

I agree, if they are found guilty of any wrong doing a points deduction is more appropriate, demotion is going over the top, as much as I have them even I wouldn't go that far.

Whoa, it is not a competition as to who can go the most over the top with a punishment, or is Carlo?

This whole Direby postponement farce stinks as a complete set up.

Think back. Rowett was setting up his get out of jail free card prior to the Forest match with his missing persons list and drafting in youngsters on the bench because he knew that if he lost then history shows the Candy Man is not averse to pulling the trigger at this time of year?

Rowett scraped a result but also lost Huddlestone and will be nursing a few other knocks from last weekend. Lose to Cardiff and at best he is playing Championship Play off Roulette which he knows Derby cannot hack!

Snow on Saturday after TV scenes at Bramall Lane clearing and finishing the match gives them the opportunity.

Imagine the conversation internally?

The key fixture of the Direby run with a bigger missing list for Cardiff.

We could do with not playing a weakened team against a team who have won 6 on the bounce?

“How do we get the fixture postponed”?

“Direby have a duty to try and get the fixture on”.

However, a Elf & Safety Assessment can always be directed to err on the side of extreme caution to come up with the answer you want to present?

Sunday looked suspiciously like going through the motions of getting the game on but setting up the Stadium Safety Officer to toe the party line?

Why?

Police clearly did not support the decision and so would have resourced the match?

Main roads around the city were clearly operational.

The weather forecast which was correct stated that the overnight snow would clear during the day.

The retail park by all accounts was open for business?
Come and spend money in our super store to pay for “Santa’s Snow Helpers”?

Football fans are generally more hardy and determined than discretionary shoppers at getting to their destination.

Would the same decision have been made if Cardiff had the same injury list and Direby, a fully fit squad? -No Way!

Warburton’s favourite quote “ fine margins and taking your chances” Well Direby certainly exploited theirs? - However caught offside by VAR!

Verdict – Guilty as charged.

Penalty -Refund all Cardiff’s costs including their supporters. Hefty fine for non-fulfilment of the fixture and a 3 point deduction .

Shame on all Sheep! Championship football again next season.

Case closed.

Let's hope sky have deducted their money and don't show them next season
Can't remember the last time a live sky game was postponed?.
They should throw their hat in and say "What snow?"

It's was a sprinkling, not heavy overnight snow like there trying to make out.
Pubs were open all day and night around derby and if you can stand up pissed then you can play football sober.
