Seems to me that the ball has started rolling at last and it will gather momentum. Uncompromising owner with previous similar business experience who has surrounded himself with people who are more than capable of carrying out what is no doubt expected of them. Assertive manager who knows exactly what is required to maintain and increase momentum. Increasing attendances with a sense of cautious optimism. All pulling together. URs.

Seems to me we need the ball to roll into the oppositions net to aid us in securing 3 much needed points

Agree 2star we could really do with a win , only 11 points from our last 10 matches doesn't make good reading and if it was at the start of the season it would be relegation form ,
But the most disappointing thing for me is the style of football we are playing which is very defensive and poor to watch , don't think the bread man was given a fair shout and loved his style of football , think AK should consider Vaughan or geddy in midfield to give us that quality to pick out a pass , Colbeck and Watson are good defensive midfielders but lack the creativeness that we need to open opposition defences , up until Christmas I think David Vaughan was our best player

Fully agree regarding Vaughan and Geddy especially now that we are safe.Regarding "style" skegby,I can't help thinking that the breadmans cavalier approach had gone stale to say the very least. P.S. RIP Butch . We don't see his like enough these days!

Playing the devil's advocate, a mix of MW and AK would've suited us. My biggest disappointment was David Weir. What input did he have? Results went, goals conceded especially from set pieces? You could argue DW cost them both their jobs. Water under the bridge now, we have to support the current management team, more smooth than rough please.

Good point Scouse but when you look at it warbo won five out of his last fourteen games and Karanka has only managed to win three out of his fourteen plus being allowed to signed ten players.
Have we improved?
For me? No

Defensively a bit tighter, but wait on that one we will concede with those two full backs and they offer nothing on attack.
All sides need a balance of attack and defense, ours is unbalanced as it only relays on its defensive side which won't stand up to the likes of Cardiff and probably Boro.
When you play a back four who can't score us goal from a set piece then you add that to Watson and colback who have no idea where the net is,then that leaves you with cash and lolley who will work their socks off but can't provide the final pass that the the striker needs.

Then we have an unfit tomlin, I trust Warnock on that one and can see it myself, to come up with the goods, which he will occasionally and has.
It all adds up to very few goals and also has no pace to worry the opposition.

Agree on the pace front, which questions the decision to send Walker on loan? Clough ok because we had similar players but Walker might have stretched teams in the last 20. Murphy has issues, Vellios needs time we can't give him, Brereton probably not ready yet. Tomlin is being targeted and referees aren't giving him any protection. Cash and Lolley our only bankers for a goal?😲 So given all that doom and gloom, I don't want AK to 'go for it' in the last few games. Away draws and a bit more expansive at home. Luckily 4 or 5 teams worse than us. FTID.

Just to point out that the players sent out on loan are all bench warming or playing under 23 football?
There is no comparison between Warbo and Karanka. AK is a winner and knows how to shape a football club and get results. Warbo's judgement on players has been found wanting and we are in a far better place as a club since he left.

If he's a winner can you have a word then red and tell him to win a game for a change?.
Think we are way off mounting a promotion challenge for next season other teams have a head start on us and we'll have to off load at least fifteen players he don't rate, and that won't be easy, before he can bring in more players.
Can't see us winning the next two at all and can't see where a goal will come from.
You are living more in hope that he can repeat his Boro promotion with us than anything we've seen so far on the pitch.
Hope he does come good but right now I'm not convinced at all.

Forest 79 karanka didn’t have 10 games back end of a season and a full preseason with spending £6 odd million on players he cane in and in two weeks tried to shape a team that was hard to beat after we were conceding more goals than ever.warburtons football (if that’s what you call it) was just as boring but we were conceding more and normally the first goal and we couldn’t come back.give karanka a preseason and I’m pretty sure we will be doing a lot better than the breadman was.
Under warbo we had the most passes in our own half!!!! That’s not football that’s holding onto the ball for the sake of it!
