I think we need to buy 3 strikers in the summer as a priority. That way we could send Brereton out on loan to a League 1 side till maybe Christmas to boost his confidence. Maybe send Forest79 out on loan to D*rby as well until the summer of 2030. ;)

PC 76, I couldn’t go yesterday sadly, my brother gave me a damning report of B.B. however, the highlights show a different story and he looked like he’s developing some attributes. Great cross for the goal, let’s give the lad some credit. I’ve been beating the drum that he’s not ready (not that he’s not good enough) but not ready for a while now . I’m quite happy to be proved wrong, I think he served us a bit of pie yesterday to be fair. Irrespective of that through we need new striking blood for next year.

There can be no doubt that Brererton has all the attributes to become a very useful striker but I think this season he has gone backwards from the player I saw at the back end of last season when let's be fair we were under more pressure re relegation than this one.

I thought once again he did not have a particularly good game yesterday but he was not alone in what was a pretty tepid performance.

HOWEVER I sit in the trent end lower and the look on his face and the glint in his eye when he snatched up the ball for the penalty spoke volumes.
Nobody and nobody and his army was taking that penalty and his joy and relief at scoring was palpable and I think far far more important for him moving forward than for us fans waiting to see a goal.
If he had fluffed that then I think he may have taken a long long time to recover from it and kudos to him for having the b###s to do it.

We can't keep saying " he's only 18 he's only 19 " aznd next season will be pivotal when hopefully he will be playing alongside better forwards with less pressure on him as the mostly lone frontman.

I would not loan him out because he's been blooded at this level and has immense potential BUT please stop this ridiculous diving as witnessed yesterday for which he was rightly booked.

Whilst I am on I feel obliged to have my say on forest79 with whom I have bantered with on here over the months and our opinions are shall we say are a little diverse but mine are mine and his are his and he never wavers from them and at times are difficult to argue with .

A sheep ???.

Not for my money just a passionate fan with views different to probably most but similar to some on a website dedicated to banter,opinions and individuals views :)

Anderson Peter wells the goalkeeper Dave Mcvay of Notts and post.
They won the English schools trophy,another was Glyn Saunders who was also at forest but didn't make the first team.

2 star like creepy said the only reason this site exists is because we have different opinions,I just say it how I see it as does everyone else.
I enjoy the banter and sometimes there's a little devilment in there just to get a reaction and a thread going.
I love my football and nffc with a passion booked my seat with the lads for a great end of season bash at Bolton.
Now we're safe I'll let the owners decide the best way forward,If it is Karanka then so be it and I hope he can make us a force again.
Anyway like I say keep up the banter on here it's great fun.
Don't expect me to change though😁😁😁

I think he just about saved his job yesterday and will be given a chance,but was sailing very close to the wind.
Now safety is assured be nice to see the Greek lad given a go in goal and maybe a bit more attack minded play.
Like to see colback dispensed with as he won't be here next season and tomlin and Dowell,give the players under contract the last four games.
Be interesting how much money will be available and who can be sold on,that could be the biggest problem,the squad is simply too large as it stands.

I agree, I like Colback but don’t like him and Watson , it’s one or the other with bridcutt or Osborn. Neither will want to sit it out will they? Since we’ve signed Watson full time he’s obviously staying put.

He's the new McKenna and rightly captain,colback is a good player but his wages would be an issue and we already have Bridcutt and geddy.
Need a box tox and a goalscorer in midfield with younger legs.
