F79, best wishes with the recovery, my dad has had several of the pesky things removed and had to treat a couple of them with chemotherapy cream - which did knock him about a bit.

Best be safe than sorry.
Never gone and got something sorted so fast and a dentist hurts more.

I must admit I was really surprised by how sun exposure is the culprit as it overly stimulates the skin cells. Food for thought for all of us I think. My oldest has my dads fair skin and hair so I’ve always caked him in sun block. Hopefully he will continue with the good practice into adult hood.
