Jack Colback has been reported as being wanted by the club and a figure of £40,000 a week has been mentioned, if that is what he wants, or expects i do not feel he is worth it.

I think there are better players out there for 40 grand a week I can't see us paying that much.

I've been totally underwhelmed by Colback. At £40k plus per week he really isn't value for money. There are far cheaper and better players around fit for a promotion pushing championship team than him. If we are going to spend that sort of money it needs to be on a striker or attacking midfielder not a one paced ball shuffler in midfield.

Newcastle fans on twitter can't wait to get rid of him and get him off their wage bill, IMO not worth anything like that sort of money and could well cause bad feeling with other players over pay.
So a big no thank you AK got to better players for a lot less money

It was a poor decision especially for someone who says there a football manager but worst of all someone who has a banking background!
