I said many weeks ago that someone would stay up with less than 46 points.
I was right and that's the only reason we are still in this league, the sides below were so poor.
I'm going to watch with interest next season when Karanka has assembled an old army and see where we are?
Then let's see the comments from those doing summersaults over a manger whose won just 5 games??
I will be delighted if he proves me wrong?
Miracles happen now and then I suppose??

I will not be holding my breath 79 bit surely next season with the chosen ☝in charge and team full of his players we will be in top 10 😊

The only reason we stayed up was because Karanka brought in a backbone to the team that was conceding goals for fun and getting bullied by the scrapping teams which counts for at least half the league.

The other reason was 53 points and only one team Peterboro have been relegated with more points (54) in Championship history!

Next seasons priority is to create a team that is hard to beat and get our goals against column under 50 and goals scored over 65 which gives us a chance of challenging for a top 6 spot. That's further progress!

The thing with stats is , interpretation.
You say we survived because the teams below us were poor, well, yes they got less points than us so your right.
But if the bottom 3 had got more points, therefore the mid table teams would have got less points and the whole relegation situation would have been closer, you could then say the whole league was poor ?
So it’s swings and round abouts
