Forest announce the purchase of the vacant site on Pavilion Road and Radcliife Road to build England's largest Humble Pie Shop.

All proceeds from those fans engaging mouth before brains will fund AK's shopping list.

I cannot believe this forum's obsession with not wanting any signing over 28 and raffling off any of our players under 25! Why? Experience! ?

Great teams are built on mixing the right blend irrespective of age. So, to all fans that want their pie and eat it just let the Head Chef buy ALL his ingredients to make his recipe before getting your knives out.

Methinks AK's revenge on you all will be a dish best served cold and you will all get your just desserts come next May!

Onwards and Upwards

COYR's.

I remember when BC signed a certain Larry Lloyd who was considered a has been and we had the best 3 years of his career and look what we achieved. I'm not suggesting we will repeat that but the challenge may give Dawson a new lease of life and provide the backbone of our defence as we try to put together a push for promotion.

To me it's just about being good enough whatever age. On this subject at what age does a young player stop being young? How long do you keep saying yes but he's young and will improve with experience. Is Osborn still young? Ollie Burke 13 million good money?
What age do you become to old? 30,31,32,33,34,35 ? Does the position you play make a difference?

Perks, for me when a player becomes 25 you stop calling him young, as for calling a player old that boils down to how well they look after their body and how much they enjoy playing, if they are just going through the motions and not looking after their body then at 28 they will come across as old, but if they look after their body and are still enjoying their football then 33 is getting old. Some can go on to be quality to nearly 40, but that is rare but 33 is getting old.

Larry was a younger has been.
More out of favour than old when we signed him.
He was only 28 when he signed and gave us five years,so the comparison isn't there with Dawson.
Perks you are right, providing they can stay fit,if he stays fit a good signing and bound to be fitter than Hobbs who he's replacing.

Ff799 Larry was younger mate but had a reputation for having a bad attitude, and Coventry couldn’t get rid fast enough,Dawson totally different,Hull were very keen to keep him,if we get 2 years out of him it will be a good deal, and great for worrall couldn’t have a better role model

Agree Daws has a good fitness record and is the player Hobbs should have been. I hope there is nothing in the water at Hull or in Brucey's training methods that will come back and bite us?
