Well hopefully the amount of speculation around strikers confirms that it’s right at the top of the list ! We need at least two additions, maybe three. Karanka needs to decide what he does with Walker, Murphy, Cummings, clough (as an attack minded midfielder) and Brereton. None of them looked like the answer last season and there is some really poor goals to games stats in there as well. I think we’d have got another nine points under Karanka with a decent striker. His style of play won’t work if the strikers aren’t clinical.

Having signed lolley on a perm is excellent. Tomlin made the difference in creativity and appears on the wanted list. So like 2star says a clinical striker is key. Getting goals takes the pressure off and that as we know was sadly missing again last season.

I personally don't see the hype surrounding soudani.
Yes he bangs in goals for fun but surely a proven striker in a tougher league would be better?
The league he's in is now better than the Scottish Premier league.
Just look at MCkay and Cummings as an example.... Not fit for purpose.
