Just read an article written by a Peterborough Journalist about Jack Marriott.
He describes him as small yet fast.
Scores goals from within the 18yard area and needs to be supplied balls from a flowing team. Interesting to hear this.
Personally I think grabben would be the preferred option to karankie.
Do we need another small player who needs a supply into the box?
We already have 2 lightweights in Cummings and MCkay. Thoughts please!

Think Cummins and McKay will be gone before the season starts so count them out of the equation. I would still like to have Marriott on board but think the price tag quoted is too high. However, say 3 million, and 2 or 3 from our unwanted list, say Walker, Grant, Clough, etc, makes it seem a better proposition. Not only would we be getting the hottest striker of the moment, but we are crossing off three salaries from our wages account. Just my opinion.

Seems like there desperate to get rid of him but nobody is taking the bait yet.

They need to be more realistic about the price.

Just have a bad feeling about him can't see him playing the lone striker role now Peterborough men are backing that worry up with there analysis guess I'm just fed up with our lack of physical presence last season

Red James, we might play 3-5-2 at home if we got him.

Karanka definitely needs to play 2 upfront at home.
We don't seem so sure bout soudani and Marriott cutting it in championship. So why don't we go for someone like Danny ings. He is over his injury and made several sub appearances for Liverpool end of season
But I'd only going to be bench warmer for them
He would be ideal on loan with view to buy.
Liverpool would probably pay half his wages so would be worth gamble. Scored over 30 in championship for Burnley still young

True but then if around 8 mill could get vydra think 6.5 is just way over priced for one good season in the 3rd tier plus you know how many ridiclaus clauses they will want in the agreement

Ings is back from injury but is he really over his injuries?hes been injured for about 3 years since joining Liverpool.we won’t be able to tell till he’s starting games as to weather he’s over them or not.its a big risk taking him on especially with our injury history.
Not sure what the fascination with Marriott is,he may well do ok in the champ but £6.5 is a big gamble when you could prob get vydra for around the same and we know he can score goals in this league

Ings on loan if he gets injured he goes back. If he stays fit he takes us to prem win win.

It’s not as easy as that.if he’s on a season long loan and picks up niggles you can’t send him back, only if he picks up a long term injury I think.
