I agree Skegs - he's had one good season in League One. I'd much rather the money be spent on a striker who has played at this level. My preference would be Oliveira and then Grabban.

GazzaRed, out of the two you have chosen i would go fo Grabban. Grabban scored freely for a side that got relegated, Olivia was in a decent side and could not get in double figures.

I agree RJ and that's for me why it comes down to Grabban and Oliveira (and maybe Vydra but things seem to have gone cold on him) these are the 2 strikers who are openly available and are not demanding too high of a price in this current market. I prefer Oliveira for the following reasons
1) he's 4 years younger than Grabban
2) he scored goals in a very poor NF side
3) he has the attributes we need, big, strong and knows where the goal is
4) he's likely to be on lower wages than Grabban
5) he's likely to cost a little less

Think oliviera would suit the lone ranger role better and he'll set goals up for the midfield.
Grabban is just a goalscorer and does little else,not a team player,hence he's never held down a place at Bournemouth.

Ff, what you have said makes sense but with our revolving door of managers we have only short term thinking on players, if Grabban did well by having a decent midfield feeding him as a lone striker you know goals will come, we would get a good price if the next manager does not want him, can that be said of Olivia, were we to get promoted this season would either make the step up.

Soudani Marriott would also get 20 Or not far off.
Hernendes hugil olivera offer us a different all round forward but can't guarantee goals they tend to average 10/15 tops
