Would someone be good enough to explain the reasons for an undisclosed fee? Especially when a figure of 3 mil euro's for Soudani has been mentioned more than once?

Sgetty, the rumour might be right about a €3m bid, but we can not be sure, it is now being said that we did not put a bid of £8m in for Bramford but Forest are not wanting either Bramford or Marriott for the prices each of their clubs have told Forest.

Why would any football owner unless they had more money than sense disclose what they are paying to secure a player especially when they are building a squad? It just raises the prices and wages for the next deal!

It does seem a bit strange that the club announce they spent £13 million on Carvalho but just stated that an experienced player has signed for an undisclosed fee and not the reported £2.7 million.

I agree with you '76 and still no-one has answered my original question which was about the ideas for undisclosed fees? I also got a thumbs down which is bizarre(for asking a question) maybe I should have used more question marks??????? Or take the sensible option . Ed can you enlighten me?

It really depends, it could be to stop fans complaining about the prices or the size of the agent fee. In the past some have used it as a way to avoid taxes or salt money away into personal accounts etc. There are many possible reasons, but, imo, none of them are good and clubs should be forced to be completely open and honest about fees and salaries, like they have to be in US sports.
