So happy with the business done so far. Improving all areas of the pitch:

1. Pantilimon > any of our GK options
2. Figueiredo > Mancienne (set to leave)
3. Dawson > Hobbs (injruy issues)
4. Robinson > Traore (set to leave)
5. Goncalves > Ward (set to leave)
6. Dias > Dejagah
7. Carvalho > any current AM options
8. Soudani > Cummings
9. Grabban > any of our FW options

Now all we need is a RB to replce Darikwa in the starting XI, and a CDM to add more depth with the current options limited to Watson, Bridcutt, Guedioura and Osborn potentially (assuming Yates is loaned out)

I'd be inclined to bring another goalie in as well so that Jordan Smith can go out on loan. It's no good for him to be sat watching football. He needs to be playing. Another left back as well for competition.

We are still looking at Bruno Varela from Benfica. He would cost us around £12m I think.

He looks a good player but I fear it could harm us from a FFP POV.

Also, we have 5 GK on our books at the moment. Henderson and Evtimov need selling, and either Smith or Kapino can be loaned out IMO

Would either he or Pantilimon accept playing second fiddle, i guess whichever does could play the music before each game. 😁

Who we're looking at is pure speculation until something happens. However, as per the FFP concerns, if we are after Varela for £12 million that would be spread over 4-5 years like the Carvalho and Grabban deals, and possibly Pantillimon's, so I can't imagine that being much of a problem with FFP now being spread over a 3 year period.
