A classic case of " After the Lord Mayors show " today and to be blunt we were as below par today as we were flying on Tuesday but realitically the performance against west Brom was going to be difficult to live up to.

I thought Colback and Fox put in a real grafting shift today and Soudani and to a lesser extent Cash injected a sense of urgency into the play with a really well taken goal sealing the three points.

That was the kind of game we were likely to have lost 12 months ago and grinding out a win when you are not playing well is to me another facet that this squad can show.

Most assuredly not pretty and for the most part very laboured but the cliche of 3 points is 3 points applies.

I will no doubt cop brickbats when I say that regarding the Carabao cup on Tuesday I for one will not be devastated to lose . There are far bigger fish to fry this season.

Just want the next league came to come around asap and hope to see us take 3 more at the DW next week.

Nice post again creepy. Fans need to remember, keep your eyes on the prize. Long, long season and we will have a dip. Just need to keep up with the pace setters, so far so good. FTID.
