Did not go today but listened to the radio commentary.

Colback, Fox and Figs provided the platform for us to play. It seems the new pitch slowed some of the passing and some of our players could not keep up the intensity of Tuesday.

Clement did his homework and harried us in midfield. We had a plan B which is why we have a big squad. The subs made an instant impact and we won the game.

That's the sign of a very good team and manager!

Soudani is our ace in the pack because he has an eye for goal and can play anywhere across the front line which means teams will find it hard to plan against him.

1-0 to AK for playing him in the hole after out wide on Tuesday.

Interesting reviewing the forum comments on a match we won with some writing certain players off already.

The negative comments about Grabban are laughable. John O'Hare won some medals not scoring 20 goals a season but by playing others in for the benefit of the team!

Championship football is won over 46 matches. Forest are unbeaten in 3 which is better than most were predicting.

Better still we are still introducing players into the team who are only going improve us.

I suggest those requiring the instant gratification demanded by the inanity of social media after every game go play with their stations in their bedroom!

Onwards and Upwards Forest are on the March with Aitor's Army

COYR's.

Your post is good in places, and laughable in others, the pitch did not slow the passing down. I believe the lads had a mixure of feeling the exertion of their previous efforts, but also went into the game over confident and therefore were not rushing to get forward.

There were glimpses of their intent but not often enough. When Cash, and Soudani came on they upped the tempo of the game. Once Soudani scored the team came to life, through out the game they did the dirty side of the game well but up to scoring found it hard to find the impetus get forward often.

There nothing wrong saying someone had a bad game, how is that writing them off. Grabban strolled around the pitch for the most part of the game. I would say the lads used the long ball a bit too often but they dug out a win so sbould be applauded fo that.

S2T you really were at a different game to me regarding Grabban. I actually agree with FF79 in that in the 4231 means the man up top is on a hiding to nothing if he doesn't get quality service.Worked hard, strong and has good pace.Put in a shift for the team.

We'd have been better off with Brereton up front or no one up front rather than grabban money wasted on him by what I've seen so far bring back Cummings 😁

For sure, the system needs work if AK is going to stick with Grabban on his own up top. He does the lone striker role pretty well, but he's no Assombolonga. I'd like to see Soudani starting in a more advanced role, Grabban clearly needs more support, and soudani looks like he has the energy, strength and eye for goal to provide it.

Soudani is a player that loves playing he's happiest on the pitch and would play him every game he's only going to get better

Perks13 how does one game define a players season? If he had scored a hat trick yesterday that would not have meant he would score 30 goals this season, and a bad game does not mean he is going to have a rubbish season either.

Redinexile, john o'hare was an entirely player to grabban he played with his back to goal held the ball up and played others in , in an essentially counter attacking team, grab an looks like a poacher to me not entirely suited to the role he’s been given

We defo need someone up there with grabbon. Or someone closer to him.
Teams are going to camp out at city ground like reading tried yesterday. So I'd go 352. Against teams we expect will do this.

Better playing 3-4-3 at home when they park the bus!
