I think we would all like to keep him but we have brought loads of players in and may need to balance the books a little.
For me loan him out but don't sell unless we get a big offer or if we do need to put a few quid back in to maintain the push for the premier league.
One thing I would say is you have to look at this like the Jack Marriot saga. I would have took a punt on him but as several quite rightly pointed out, we need someone to get the goals now, not one for the future!
Is BB not the same?

Nothing mate. Living in the past with an idealistic view that we are always nurturing the next Roy Keane. The reality is many of the ‘next best thing ‘ never even went on the have successful careeers. We’ve had 4 good ones in fifteen Years - granted it’s probably generated circa 25 mil but has that paid for the investment when you consider wages of staff etc.

Gazza whilst I'm not disagreeing with you I'd point you to the England set up who have consistently picked him for the last couple of years and obviously believe he is one of the best young strikers in the country. My main concern is that if he does go we get the market value for a young international forward.Whether you rate him or not that's what he is.
