The clubs owners have worked wonders getting fans back on side, in this context I think selling Brereton is a suicidal PR move by the club. Too many fans don’t want this and doing it out of the blue at this stage of the season could be seen to lack transparency.

Whether you fancy B.B. as a future star or not I think you’d have to agree it’s not the right thing to sell him to Blackburn.

Someone needs to understand that many fans will not be at all happy with this and all the effort that has gone into winning fans over is going to be shattered on one fell swoop.

It wouldn’t be so bad if we were playing great and scoring plenty of goals, it’s hard to call isn’t it, what the problem is with so many strikers to struggle at forest under AK. Is it the strikers or is it impossible to succeed as a striker in his teams with his tactics ?

Did he get the boot from boro because they simply couldn’t score goals ? Is he as hopeless and goal scoring tactics is the Wolly is at defence tactics ?

Don’t underestimate what a massive call this is for the club, this is a massive decision with potential ramifications.

He is not a Winger or a lone striker so will not flourish under Aitor, the club must not take Blackburn's chances seriously so not bothered about sending him to them. I do feel you are over emphasising the issue of how fans will react. The only way the fans will not be happy is jf Blackburn with Brereton in the team costs us a play offs spot.

I don’t think the two goals he will score will affect our chances too much.

Brereton has proven he knows where the back of net is and put the ball there while playing for England, the trouble is the last two managers rarely play to his strengths. If, or when he is a Blackburn player he may not be prolific but will score fairly regularly once his confidence grows being played where he should be.

If he wants to go, let him go.

Depends on his replacement

2 star your description of the situation reminds me of the Joe Worrall/ Burnley bid in January. I have faith in Aitor and the owners.Maybe the deal is taking so long because we won't ok it until we have a replacement. (Abraham/Oliviera will do)

My personal opinion is that letting Brereton go would be a mistake

I'm with you Stevie.Review again in January. He could be a regular for us by then! At least in January any transfer fee can be reinvested. At the moment all that happens is we lose a striker.

Everybody divided but there is definitely one thing and that is we have no front man that is scoring goals brereton can play up there and do better than grabban at the minute and to sell him to a team in our league is not a great thing to do.

bsred, who says he “wants to go”? An assumption on your behalf and Billybongo, he could and would score more if played in his right position to his strengths, look how many goals he’s scored for the younger teams and England. He’s got power and pace and he’s a young lad for gods sake. I know, I’ve got a super idea, let’s keep playing Grabnone and Murphy up top, so prolific and fast and a real handful-not, I’ve seen faster slugs. Great post 2star, I’m with you with that and I for one, ain’t going to be happy if he’s flogged.

As with Guedioura lots of folk will be eating their words when Grabban starts bagging. He has played 3 full games and been written off, unbelievable it really is.

You obviously not listening again perks what people are saying his the way we play he's not scoring also how long do wait for our only striker to start bagging 10-20 games I mean they gave him the penalty to take and he had to rely on soudani to finish it off lol.

TAP, when did I say brereton wanted to go?? I never said any such thing son. I just said he was crap! Think we should let it play out now. Everyone just saying the same things over and over. If one more person says “he’s only 19” I’ll throw myself in the Trent.

Billybongo, read my post again son. bsred said if he wants to go and you said about 2 goals. My reply was to both of you.

Whatever anyone thinks Tap, he definitely doesn’t deserve a flogging I agree - I mean it’s only one step from crucifixion in my eyes 👀
